We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures to collect blood samples from patients.
- Ensure proper identification of patients and accuracy in labeling specimens.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis, including centrifugation and storage.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
- Document all procedures accurately in patient records.
- Collaborate with clinical laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Stay updated on best practices in phlebotomy and laboratory techniques.
Skills
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques and blood sampling methods.
- Knowledge of clinical laboratory operations and medical terminology.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to blood collection.
