Job Requirements of Breaker Electrician:
EXPERIENCE
- 5 years electrical experience desired.
- Experience related to utility companies and heavy industry a plus.
- Electrical education or certifications are a plus.
- Must have a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have good customer relations skills and able to remain calm during stressful situations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a challenging fast-paced environment.
- Ability to take direction and act independently
Must also be able to work well with a team. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
- Must be a self-starter and able to make quick decisions.
- Must be willing to follow standard safety practices in performing job tasks to promote safe and efficient workmanship.
- Must show a history of being reliable and dependable
Ability to work overtime as required. - Must be able to physically perform all required duties which may include: bending, lifting, carrying, squatting, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, or standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Be willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment and work around industrial equipment.
- Be willing to travel and work in several different geographic locations (indoors & outdoors).
- Must hold a valid Arizona Driver’s License and be insurable by Company’s insurance carrier.
- Must be willing to confidently submit to the background and drug screening process.

Breaker Electrician

$28.00 - $32.00/Hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Electrical installation, including but not limited to conduit, cable, low and medium voltage switchgear and electrical apparatus.
- Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on all types of electrical and electronic systems, both indoors and outdoors.
- Working knowledge in low voltage and medium voltage ranging from 120v up to 46kv
- Proficiency in the use of electrical test meters: DVM’s, megger, ammeters, hipot, ductor, Doble, etc.
- Able to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical theory, experience in AC and DC power circuits.
- General knowledge of low & medium voltage circuit breakers.
- Travel to perform regular PM’s and or emergency projects.
- Perform basic control wiring installation using schematics and wiring diagrams with little assistance.
- Provide and maintain personal tools.
